We present Velveteen Queen, the Swedish rock band that has been making waves in the music industry since its inception.
Velveteen Queen is a standout rock band with a unique blend of classic rock, drawing inspiration from bands such as Aerosmith, Guns N’ Roses, and The Black Crowes.
Since their debut in 2022, they have established themselves as one of the most exciting and dynamic acts within the genre. With a strong stage presence and high-energy performances, Velveteen Queen delivers unforgettable live experiences that resonate with both festival audiences and club crowds alike.
In 2025, Velveteen Queen signed a worldwide record deal with Silver Lining Music, marking a major milestone in the band's rapidly rising career.
Now, the next chapter begins. On September 18, 2026, Velveteen Queen will release their highly anticipated new album, The Greater Good, worldwide on CD, vinyl, and all major streaming platforms.Leading up to the album release, the band will unveil three singles, offering fans an exciting first taste of the new material. The title track, "The Greater Good," arrives on May 6, 2026, followed by "Adrenaline" on June 15, and "Too Far Gone" on August 4.
Despite their young age, with members ranging from just 20 to 24 years old, Velveteen Queen has already achieved more than most bands only dream of. The band has performed at some of Sweden's most prestigious rock festivals, including Sweden Rock Festival, Skogsröjet Festival, Time To Rock Festival, Kristianstad Rockfest, and Malmö Festival.
In June 2026, Velveteen Queen reached another major milestone when they were selected as the support act for the legendary Alice Cooper at the spectacular Dalhalla Amphitheatre—one of Sweden's most iconic and breathtaking concert venues. The performance further cemented the band's reputation as one of the country's most exciting young live acts and marked another significant step in their rapidly rising career.
In 2023, the band proudly released their first self-produced maxi vinyl, “The Theatre Sessions,” which received strong praise from the press. In 2024, they released their critically acclaimed debut album, “Consequence of the City,” and shortly thereafter signed an exclusive licensing deal with King Records in Japan. “Consequence of the City” was released in Japan and across Asia in January 2025.
The momentum around Velveteen Queen continued to grow after they shared the stage with rock icons such as Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, and Megadeth at Sweden Rock Festival 2024. They also had the honor of opening a couple of shows for for Mammoth WVH, followed by their first European tour with Nestor, covering Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
